Product Applications Engineer

Luisa Bernuzzi graduated from the University of Pavia, Italy with a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology. She launched her career in the Pharmaceutical industry where she worked as a QC manager. In 2011, she was appointed R&D manager for an Italian group that specializes in manufacturing systems and solutions for the pharma industry. Recently, she joined Mesa Labs as a Product and Application Engineer. 

With her strong chemical and microbiological expertise, she is passionate about developing innovative sterilization and disinfection techniques. Her multidisciplinary approach combines chemistry, microbiology, and engineering concepts to achieve the best results. She has extensive knowledge and experience in validating steam, dry heat sterilization/ depyrogenation, and hydrogen peroxide decontamination. Her primary focus is on developing the right technology and cycle to preserve the quality of the customer's product and ensure its microbiological safety. Her vast cultural background also makes her an excellent speaker and trainer, and she has been invited to numerous international events to share her knowledge and expertise.
